This War of Mine [PC Game]

In 1992 Sarajevo was besieged. The siege lasted until 1996. 11,500+ civilians were killed, including 1,500 children. That siege, and the suffering of civilians in wartime, inspired this game.

Bloodborne [PS4]

 I've got to learn to not buy into the hype around video games. I almost got sucked into buying The Order 1886, which admittedly I'm still interested in but I'll wait until I can get it for maybe $20. Instead I moved my preorder over to Bloodborne.

Interstellar [Movie Review]

I consider this movie to be the spiritual successor to 2001: A Space Odyssey. However the parallels are not that great nor are they heavy handed. In essence, Christopher Nolan (director of the most recent Batman Trilogy) has crafted an epic science movie. So epic that I was actually getting worried over the hyper about the film. Over-hyped movies have a tendency to let one down.

The Maze Runner [Movie Review]

The Doctor Who series 8 review has been postponed. It will be up on Monday. My apologies. However, it has been postponed to review yet another of these movies being made from wildly popular YA book series. Somehow, and this is most likely a good thing, I've never read a single one of them.

Banished [PC Game Review]

Well it's been a little while since I've reviewed a PC game. But this week is a real gem, a brand new game from an indy studio, Shining Rock Software. I discovered this game just a few weeks before release, and knew right away that it was a day one buy.
