Bloodborne [PS4]

 I've got to learn to not buy into the hype around video games. I almost got sucked into buying The Order 1886, which admittedly I'm still interested in but I'll wait until I can get it for maybe $20. Instead I moved my preorder over to Bloodborne.

A Certain Magical Index II [Anime Review]

This review is going to cover not one, but two A Certain Magical Index animations. The first is the second season, the second is the movie, The Miracle of Endymion. These anime are connected, somehow, to A Certain Scientific Railgun. (Reviews for Railgun, and Railgun S).

Helix "Mother" (Season 2, Ep. 10) [TV Review]

 
It's been a while since I've done this. But this week I think I'll do an installment of "Grandpa Yells at the TV" or in other words a write as I watch segement. I don't tod these too often, I'm not sure how well they are received, but I'll give it another go. The star rating will be at the bottom this week.

I, Claudius [TV Classics Review]

I'm just going to paraphrase the back of the DVD as a quick introduction. I, Claudius is one of the '100 best television shows of all time,' at least according to Time Magazine. This is the true definition of an epic, and it is coupled with a cast of utterly amazing actors.

Sid Meier's Starships [Video Game Review]

Before buying this game, I had mixed feelings.
It was a Sid Meier game, it also had graphics that looked a bit outdated.

Helix "Ectogenesis" (Season 2, Ep. 9) [TV Review]

Tonight episode was the ninth of the second season. The title was Ectogenesis.
It left me feeling ambivalent. This episode was just hard to get the feel of. Some good, some bad.
And it had an unhealthy obsession with eyeballs.

CHAPPiE [Movie Review]

 Last Friday I took my usual trip to the theater and ventured into the dark cavernous depths to see a film. The theater has decided, in its extremely limited wisdom, to replace two rows of seats with special new vibrating chairs. They will also charge you at extra $8 to sit in those chairs... and I assume that those stupid chairs are also responsible for my normal ticket prices going up.

Helix "Vade in Pace" (Season 2, Ep. 8) [TV Review]

Another week another Helix review.
This one took me a day longer to get to because I spent Friday night preparing for an X-Wing Store Championship tournament. (I took 3rd, with a list I randomly selected from my many options.)

Star Wars Rebels - Season Finale [TV Review]

Rebels is the first new series set in the Star Wars universe since Clone Wars.
Like Clone Wars, it is an animated series, this time produced under Disney after their acquisition of Lucas Arts. Now, if you have not been watching it... 

Helix "Cross Pollination" (Season 2, Ep. 7) [TV Review]

Here we are again, Friday night, another episode of Helix down. Only four more to go. This episode had another one of the dull titles, "Cross Pollination." That has nothing on Densho, San Jose, or Oubliette.   

Noucome [Anime Review]

My Mental Choices are Completely Interfering with My School Romantic Comedy

Welcome to a review for what may be the longest titled anime ever. I'm not certain, but the length of the title is absolutely insane. Here it is in Japanese, 俺の脳内選択肢が、学園ラブコメを全力で邪魔している,... which is just a mouthful.

Helix "M. Domestica" (Season 2, Ep. 6) [TV Review]

Sixth week of Helix, and I'm not certain that either I or the plot knows where it is going.
This week was not a high water mark.

Helix "Oubliette" (Season 2, Ep. 5) [TV Review]

Yep, this Helix review is late again... because I saw an excellent movie on Friday and wrote THIS review instead of reviewing Helix. I watched Helix, but the movie came first.

Kingsman: The Secret Service [Movie Review]

Two weekends and three movies... and they raised the damn ticket prices on me for this last one. I assume they went up because of that other movie that is coming out, or something. Sure it was only 2% but it still sucks. Oh, back to what I was saying. Three movies in two weeks, or more like eight days, and Kingsman was by far the best.
