It's time again for another Dusty Shelf Review. I have lots of unwatched movies and anime littering my shelves. They will all eventually get watched, and then reviewed. This installment is an anime from 2001 / 2005 (Japan / USA) called Pretear.

Dragon Age Inquisition [PS4 Review]

I've had this game for a week, and put almost ten hours into it.
I think I'm ready to write a review, despite the fact that I've kept on playing both Civ Beyond Earth and Destiny. And that is just for video games... someday I'll have to post up a paint blog about some of the minis games I play aside from X-Wing as those need no paint.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 [Movie Review]

Does every single YA book to movie series require a two part final movie?
Did it begin with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows? I know it happened with Twilight (still the worst A-list movies I've ever seen), and it is happening with Divergent's Allegiance (also a really bad movie). I have no idea if the Maze Runner series will end the same way...

From the New World (Shin Sekai Yori) [Anime Review]

I really had no idea about this anime before I sat down to watch it. The tag line does not tell you much at all, and in fact may be very misleading. "When your whole world is a lie... Truth can be the deadliest weapon of all."

Sid Meier's Civilization Beyond Earth [PC Game]

I assume that a good majority of people reading this have played Civ V. Now, I could be wrong but I imagine that most people picking up the science fiction centered Beyond Earth would have played the predecessor game. 

Doctor Who series 8 - Death in Heaven (episode 12) [TV Review]

Radio Times poster, really do love these.

I've been putting off my review of this episode for too long.
I just did not want to end this season on such a note, I did not want it to come to this.

Interstellar [Movie Review]

I consider this movie to be the spiritual successor to 2001: A Space Odyssey. However the parallels are not that great nor are they heavy handed. In essence, Christopher Nolan (director of the most recent Batman Trilogy) has crafted an epic science movie. So epic that I was actually getting worried over the hyper about the film. Over-hyped movies have a tendency to let one down.

Doctor Who series 8 - Dark Water (episode 11) [TV Review]

I know that this blog post is late. I was laid low with food poisoning, and that sucks. So I missed several updates but this one had to be done. I will not miss an episode of Doctor Who.
