Disney's Brave [Movie Review]

For once I think the US had the better poster.
I did threaten that I was on a Disney movie spree, or something, a while back. I even made a mistake in a previous review. When I wrote up my triple movie review of Wall-E, Tangled, and Frozen I said that the last Disney movie I had seen in theaters was Pocahontas.

Game of Thrones "The Gift" (Season 5, Ep. 7) [TV Review]

Welcome back to the seventh installment of this season's Game of Thrones review. This weeks episode was "The Gift," and like all of the rest in the season the title presages the last few minutes of the episode. So next week during the eighth epsiode, we can expect Hardhome to occur at the end of the episode.

The World God Only Kows - Goddesses (Season 3) [Anime Review]

The last time I wrote about this anime series was way back in 2013, in the early days of this blog. My first review of The World God Only Knows was my ninth review. There is no star rating, my format was different... oh, how the world changes. I do not even know if I reviewed the second season. It might be buried somewhere in a review the covers multiple series.

Game of Thrones "Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken" (Season 5, Ep. 6) [TV Review]

Unbelievable? Unforgivable? Unfortunate? Unfaithful? I can go on...
At this point in the series, if you are a fan of the books, you are probably alternately scratching your head in confusion or cheering for what you hope is to come.

MAD MAX: Fury Road [Movie Review]

So its been almost 30 years since the last Mad Max movie was in theaters... that is a very long time. I say almost because Beyond Thunderdome came out in July of 1985... Almost 30 years. It is impressive to see a franchise rebooted after all this time.

Disney Animation Trifecta (Wall-E, Tangled, Frozen) [Movie Review]

Okay so my title image is not working out quite right. I probably need to
resize my site. That however is an issue for another day.
I said, last week, during my review of Wreck-it Ralph, that I was going to be doing a large animated movie review. I could have simply said I'd be reviewing a block of Disney films. I probably have not seen an animated Disney movie in theaters since... Pocahontas? Huzzah Amazon.

Game of Thrones "Kill the Boy" (Season 5, Ep. 5) [TV Review]

Every week I sit down with friends to watch the latest parade of deaths and poor choices that is the tapestry of Game of Thrones. I have a definite love / hate relationship with the series. There are some excellent excellent things about the series (show and books), and some downright depressingly awful things too... and no, I'm not talking about the parade of deaths. That is actually kind of cool for a book / tv series to be willing to just off and kill characters. I'll give props to GRRM for that.

Wreck-It Ralph [Movie Review]

There are movies that slip past me. Some I really wanted to see when they first hit theaters... others, not so much. Wreck-It Ralph is one of those movie that slipped past me. I did want to see it when it first came out. I just never did.

The Room: Rifftrax Live Fathom Event (Rifftrax Event)

Second showing on May 12th.
I first heard of The Room while browsing videos on YouTube, a group called CinemaSins, and the world was changed. I was watching a mockery of what may be one of the worst movies of all time. (Ok, it's actually not Manos the Hands of Fate bad... but it tries.)

Game of Thrones "Sons of the Harpy" (Season 5, Ep. 4) [TV Review]

This week on Game of Thrones...
Many things sort of happen, stuff gets discussed, and a few (lots of) people die. So... no change there from the previous week really.

Avengers 2 Age of Ultron [Movie Review]

I've been talking about it in my past few reviews, and here it is at last. It is (was) the First of May, and I'm not talking about The Song, but the day that Avengers 2 Age of Ultron was released in theaters.
