LaGrange - Flowers of Rinne season 2 [Anime Review]

Back in the final days of 2013 I reviewed the first season of this series.
I gave the first season of Lagrange - The Flower of Rinne a solid four out of five star rating.

The Wolverine (2013 Extended Cut) [Movie Review]

So here is yet another movie I did not catch in theaters. Instead I watched the BD extended edition. Sure it had the 3D disc included, but I'm not a fan of 3D in movies at all... in fact in a few cases it's given me a headache. So, best to avoid. I just watched the nice normal HD extended cut on a big flat screen.

Helix - Single Strand [TV Series]

I usually do no revisit series in the middle of their run, but damn it this time I am compelled too. I have to vent my frustration and anger at this series. I have been following Helix, and I'm not really sure why. No show before has been built more upon the ideal of using every TV Trope in existence... cliche-ville here we come!

Archer [TV Review, Full Series]

I've wanted to do a write up on this series for a while. I'm now going to take the time to do it. This is Archer, and I've not laughed so hard since the first time I saw Porky's (a movie that nearly killed me because I could not breathe - sadly it was never as funny as that first viewing. Archer maintains the humor through multiple viewings).

Killzone Shadow Fall [PS4 Review]

Well here we go, the first game for the Play Station 4 that I've finished. Killzone Shadow Fall is the continuation of a long running series of first person shooters that is available only on the Play Station. It is the fourth major game, and the first non-numerical game.

Riddic (2013) [Movie Review]

I rather wanted to see this movie in the theater, and yet I never did. Thankfully the modern era has huge flat panel TV's complete 5.1 surround sound AV systems, and high-def BD players. It also has director's cuts. Which is what I watched. I'll go back eventually and watch the theatrical release, but I always view the director's cuts as the official movie.

Archer VICE - Season 5 "White Elephant" [TV review]

I've been waiting to write a review for Archer for a while now. The time has arrived! The first episode of season 5 just aired on Monday, and now it is time to write. I chose not to write this for my typical Monday update (and that meant I did not have a Monday update, I've been bad, and very inconsistent) because it was on late night TV and I was never going to get anything posted before the day ended. That being said, read on.

Helix - Season Premiere [TV review]

I've yet to do this, write a review for the premiere of a television show.
When I first heard of Helix, connected to Ronald D. Moore (Battlestar Galactica), I was actually quite thrilled. He produced BSG, an excellent show, so I began with high hopes. Were they justified?

Falling Skies [TV Review]

I think this is only the third television show I've reviewed. The other two were a short BBC series first broadcast in the UK, and the other was a science fiction show that was cut short, and that I've still only seen one episode of. I'll try to do better.

World's End [Movie Review]

I missed seeing this movie in theaters. Which was kinda depressing considering how much I love the previous two films in the Cornetto Trilogy. Shaun of the Dead is one of the best zombie movies I've ever seen, hilarious and at the same time it had a solid zombie vibe. Hot Fuzz was a brilliant movie, it completely surprised me when I first watched it. It was not what I was expecting.

Sankarea, Undying Love [Anime Review]

Holidays are more or less over, and I'm back!

Ok, on tap today is a review of Sankarea
I've put off the review of this anime for some time now. I've written other reviews, and kept pushing it back. Why? Because it is both good and it is dark.
