The Nidaime Club Room. |
4 out of 4 stars |
Sue is now a main character. Excellent! |
Angela is not, but she does show up again. |
But it's not that simple. This series deals with some very important issues. Bullying, prejudice, acceptance, isolation, self-pity, cowardice, and more. It is a very good series, very powerful. There are some silly down times, and some bits that are just fun to watch. However it really does deal with a lot of issues.
Boldly going where no* anime has gone before. (*or few). |
Absolutely amazing. Moving even.
However there is one thing I am not certain about.
Where does Nidaime line up when compared to the manga. There appear to be 6 manga volumes out in Japan, and 4 in the states. Genshiken Nidaime goes beyond volume 4... but how far? I'd say maybe only through volume 5...
So who knows, maybe someday they will animate the missing scenes from the first Genshiken, and then continue Nidaime. I'd like that.
Genshiken 2 review here.
I understand Madarame. Probably more than I should. |
